Sound & Audio Out-of-Sync in 10 Days

I bought this TV from the Cambridge, MA store exactly 10 days ago. Between the purchase date & this morning, the TV was working perfectly. However, this morning, literally out of nowhere, the sound and audio became out-of-sync. This did not change even when I changed platforms, the problem continued whether I was watching YouTube, Netflix or Disney +. When I called the local store and GeekSquad, I was told that this was a manufacturer problem and since it was under 15 days, they should be either repairing or replacing the TV. However, they asked me to bring the TV to the store by myself. I told them that it was a TV larger than 42 inches, therefore, it was almost impossible to carry it on my own and even unhealthy to do so as stated in the box instructions. Also, since it was not my fault that there is a hardware issue with this brand new TV, I was shocked that I was expected to bear the costs of transportation to- and back from the store. Not only did they refuse to pick it up, but they offered to charge me $99 for "premium pickup" so that they could just carry the TV for me. Avoid, AVOID, Insignia at any cost. Best Buy Customer Service fails its customers once again.

Lasted 3 years, $50 Protection plan was worth it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Was pretty happy with this TV for the last 3 years, I used it mostly to fall asleep watching 2-3 hours a night at most, unfortunately the back light went out (pretty common on Insignia TVs that are 3 years old I learned), Best Buy refused to repair or replace the TV and I was refunded my purchase price thanks to spending an extra $50 on the 5 year Geek Squad Protection plan. However it's now 2022, and you cannot even buy this same TV for my purchase price (purchased for $250 on sale-normally $350, it's now $400). That means that even after a full refund (minus the $50 you won't get back from the 5 year protection plan) I now need to put $150 towards a new TV just to get back to where I was before the back light went out, plus another $50-60 if I want to avoid having this issue happen in 2025. Pretty disappointed with Best Buy and especially Insignia - 3 years is not a good life expectancy for a TV, will have to use the Best Buy gift card to replace my TV but will never buy another Insignia TV after this experience, and likely won't be buying anymore TVs from Best Buy.

Awesome Tv for the price

Your average tv

I don’t like that it doesn’t have actual buttons on the tv that you can use manually. Also it is not adaptable with Apple TV. So I have to use the tv remote for volume control instead of just using the Apple Remote for everything. I also feel that a sound bar is needed.

I was hoping to give up my Dish account but cannot do it without getting another tv. I cannot hook up my listening head set to this tv. Because of hearing issues I watch Tv with a headset. If you plug in a headset or pair to a blue tooth, no one else in the room can hear the TV. I also tried to get a sound bar, can't do that either. Will be taking this TV back and getting a Samsung that has duel audio output.

Stopped working.

I’ve had this tv for only about 4 years and one day the backlighting just randomly kinked out. The tv will turn on but the screen will be so dim I cannot see anything at all. Now I have to get a new tv.

I hate the Fire TV part of it, it loads up super slow, and I don't appreciate that it takes the time to load ads instead of just loading my TV. I've had it for 3-4 years now though, and it still works fine enough.

Waste of money

Of course warranty only lasts a year. When working, the tv was great. Sounds like cheap parts and they know it.
