DO NOT BUY

My boyfriend bought this tv thinking all TV brands should be about the same these days. I was hesitant because I buy the same brand. We got the tv to replace my Samsung I had for 10+ years. I loved this new tv until I didn’t. I had reset it here & there. Recently it just stopped working. Screen went black but there was sound. So we reset it. Then no sound or picture. So I google what the problem could possibly be. That’s where I found out this is a problem with these tvs. I read 1000s of comments with the same problem. So I reached out to insignia because this tv was maybe a year old. They tell me to do the same thing I found on google to reset it. Didn’t work like I already knew because I tried. Then for them basically so oh well because my tv was 3 months pass the 1 year mark. Do yourself a favor spend the extra money on a better brand because this brand is a joke.

Insignia don't back their product.

Decent when it actually works

Always has trouble connecting when I have a stable and strong connection. It never connects or stays connected, the sound sucks, the picture is mediocre. Spend your money on a better tv. I honestly regret buying this.

Dull picture

Just an old TV with apps.. Please let me know what I can do to get better picture.. Or I will be taking this back for a refund and get a sharp 50' TV today.

Only bluetooth remote control capabilities
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is not a bad TV for the price if you are planning on using it without a control system or universal remote. We had a customer purchase one for their patio for a home which runs on a Savant home automation system. This means we need to be able to control the TV using IR or IP and this TV can only be controlled using bluetooth. Customer now has to return the TV and swap it for a different brand which will allow IR or IP control.

DO NOT BUY INSIGNIA BRAND

This is by far THE WORST flat screen I have EVER owned. Thanks to the extended warranty we have a new TV but you'll have to wait for the coroners aka Geek Squad to confirm the death of your TV and wait an additions 3-5 days for warranty to come through.

Don’t waste your money!

Yesterday the screen started flickering and saw green/white lines along with little green dots. I was skeptical in the beginning buying this tv but thought I’d chance it because of the price. This is ridiculous to have to find out what we have to do in order to get the problem resolved.

Not even worth the low price

Trying to watch TV and the sound keeps going out. TV speaker shows off, but won’t let you turn it on. I turn off the TV and unplug it. I thought that fixed it. Started watching my movie, 10 seconds in, same thing.

Good TV Ruined by adding full screen ads
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Thanks to a recent update from Amazon, full screen ads play anytime the TV is turned on or awaken from sleep/standby. This is completely ridiculous and unacceptable behavior. Cannot recommend.

Apps dont work well

Starts off fine the first few seconds then the picture freezes for a few second but audio continues making the lip movement off. Have tried deleting and reinstalling the app to no avail. Very annoyed as hulu is my number one viewing choice and I can not do so on this TV.

Poor picture and lagg

Manufacturing defect on both of the TVs

Replaced the TV for the same model less than 2 weeks after buying it. A couple days later our new TV started doing the same thing. Returning for a new model.

Backlight Failure.
