I thought it was my cable, so I bought another one: wasn't the problem. I used a friend's cable -- wasn't the issue either. Kept turning off by itself, too. I don't really know why when it wasn't charging properly in the first place.

Stay away!

Plastic housing is cheap, hollow sounding. I doubt it would survive an average drop on hardwood floor or concrete. It has a 1.5 amp rating, but it was worthless. Took unusual longer to charge my Motorolas (x4, g5+) turbo powered phones. Stay away!

Doesn’t charge for long

After a couple of months they no longer charge your phone properly. I would like to return them both. This insignia product needs an upgrade on its functionality.
