Pricey extension cable

I am puzzled as to why an extension cable can cost more than the device that it is used for. This isn't a big, beefy, high quality extension cable. It's thin & very light weight. However, it's what I needed, so I bit the bullet & bought it.

Stiff audio extension cable

It takes a "set" if left in position, especially in cooler temps. A silicone type cable cover would allow much nicer flexibility and usability.

Satisfies a Need

Twice I’ve had feedback hum due to plug backing off from fully inserted. Once I added a loose serpentine flex I did not experience it anymore.
