You have to find the "sweet spot" in order for it to work properly. My headphones work fine when plugging directly into the computer so it's definitely the plug on this extension cable. I never have to move it so it's fine...

Extending the range of your devices

And this attachment works. It's 6ft long so I can enjoy listening to YouTube videos from my computer on a cumfortable recliner.

If you are looking for a cable with absolutely no sound distortion, consider an upgrade. However, this is a good buy with relatively good sound for the inexpensive price,

I have it routed to the edge of my desk and it give me more mobility with my headphones on.
