Waste of money, it failed after couple of hours

It just would not work despite countless tries. The ports are working fine as the other cables work on same ports. I tried this cable on two display ports, it just would not pass any signal.

Awful and not worth the time

Would not recommend. My $8 Amazon cable worked for years without issue, looks like I'll be getting another one of those.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently got a brand new PC with an RTX 2070 SUPER and I completely forgot that RTX boards don't have a place for DVI connectors. Instant panic ensued as the HDMI cable that I had to settle for at the moment (from monitor to GPU, fyi don't plug HDMI into your motherboard) only supported 60Hz for 90% of the resolutions I could choose from in the NVIDIA Control Panel. My monitor is a ASUS VG248 that I got in 2014/2015 (absolutely amazing monitor btw) with 1ms response and 144Hz. Gaming at 60Hz is depressing when I've been used to 144Hz for years. So I did some research and saw that I needed a Displayport cable. I read the reviews on this very site for this exact cable and got one today. Plugged it into my monitor and GPU, went into NVIDIA Control Panel, selected 1920x1080, and for refresh rate it had 144Hz. YESSS!! ALL of the PC resolutions in my NVIDIA Control Panel support 144Hz thanks to this cable! If you have a monitor that's over 144Hz I'm almost positive this cable will support it too according to numerous reviews here. And this should be common sense but it definitely supports all lower Hertz choices too like 120Hz, etc. TL;DR - Supports my monitor's 144Hz capability with ALL PC resolutions in my NVIDIA Control Panel.
