Q: Is that a DP 1.4 or 1.2? Thanks
A: This cable is DP 1.2.
Q: 1080p 240hz?
A: Runs 1080p 240 hz no problem. I find myself overclocking occasionally, and the chord doesn't struggle to push the limit. Never any screen flicker or other problems.
Q: Is the 20th pin unplugged or pluged?
A: Unplugged it won't damage your gpu.
Q: Will this support the monitor for the pc Omen by HP
A: As long as you have a DisplayPort interface on your computer and monitor you should be fine. I use this cable to connect a Dell Thunderbolt expansion unit to a monitor with no issues. I also used the MinDisplayPort to DisplayPort off the same Dell Thunderbolt with no issues.
A: Yes it’s primary function is to run 4K and 60fps is bare standard.
Q: Will this work on a 1080p 240Hz monitor? I need a 1.4 cable, if I use a 1.2 will it affect anything?
A: This cable supports 4K@60Hz and 1080p@240Hz.
Q: Can I use this for a monitor that is only HD (Monitor DP 1.2 and GPU DP 1.4)?
A: This cable is compatible with most DisplayPort enabled devices.
A: This cable works with DisplayPort enabled computers and monitors.
