OK DisplayPort cable in a pinch.

Worth the purchase

It was bought at Christmas and stopped working almost instantly. This one is only a few days old but it has been completely reliable, gives the 165hz display our child was aiming for with his monitor, and was inexpensive.

Great cable, gets the job done!

For some reason the HDMI output just wasn't working very well and he could not set a frame rate higher than 60. After connecting this cable in, he was able to set it to his monitor's native refresh rate

50/50 chance its defective.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While DisplayPorts are WAY better then HDMI, in this case this brand seems to have a 50/50 chance at it being defective. Mine was and caused my screen to blink at random. They replaced it at the store and the second one works great. I'd maybe find a better brand or just buy this and test it right away so if you need to you can exchange it.

Insignia - Priced Right & Quality is Above Average

You can choose to pay premium brands 10 times the cost of what you'd pay for an Insignia and get no better connection. I've never had one fail and I will continue to recommend them and other products they produce until they lower the standard. Thanks!
