50/50 chance its defective.

Mine was and caused my screen to blink at random. They replaced it at the store and the second one works great. I'd maybe find a better brand or just buy this and test it right away so if you need to you can exchange it.

It's normal DisplayPort cables.

Expensive But Worth it
