Works as advertised.

I noticed a little bit of screen flickering using the cable supplied with the monitor so I decided to try this cable when I stopped at my local Best Buy (It was the only DP cable they had IIRC). Figured it had to be better than the supplied generic cable despite seeing no indication of DP 1.2 certification on the packaging. Turned out this cable actually produced more flickering than the cable that came with the monitor. Moral of the story is if you need a high performing DP cable, hop online to a reputable vendor and find one with genuine DP 1.2 certification and avoid this product.
