I’ve had this dryer now for 3 weeks to a month now and still regret buying this dryer. After having a set of cotton sheets and a couple of shirts in the dryer over an hour on Heavy Duty, they still weren’t dry. It took over 2 hours for a mixed set of towels and jeans. Guess I’m going to have to dry Everything on Heavy Duty, High Heat. A waste of energy to me. Not happy at all with this purchase. Buyer Beware!

This dryer works, but it takes a long time to dry your clothes. You can only dry really small loads otherwise you have to dry 2 or 3 times.

Per Best Buy's repair technician, "I would advise against buying anything above an HDMI cable from the Best Buy Insignia line. They will absolutely fail and fixing them isn't worth the cost."

Electric dryer does not come with power cord to plug to wall. Must purchase and install separately other than that everything is ok.

It works ok but I was expecting more from it. It takes two and sometimes three cycles to dry one load of clothes.

Did not work ( no heat) day one have to call best buy and see if thay can replace it or fix it

I like the dryer but i had a few problems with it!

Only had dryer a couple months and the door latch broke

The dryer works great but it drove down on is not even a month in.Good thing we got insurance on it.

It’s only October and my dryer making a loud noise. I called made appt with geek squad. Not sure why they put install on appt because when they came they thought they were installing a dryer. They came in and heard the noise said it was something with the drum and I would need replacement. I asked when they couldn’t say and did they would need to turn it in to someone. I tried doing chat support and they were no help in helping me at all. I don’t know if I will get a new dryer at this point no communication so going to call geek squad tomorrow to actually speak to someone and see if they can help me see when I will get one or if they even turned this in.

I had high hopes for this dryer because I’ve purchased insignia products before that were good quality and last. Unfortunately I have realized that choosing this dryer was a mistake :( The first load I did was not by any means large and yet after completing a full cycle on normal the clothes were not dry. This has been an issue with every single load. No matter how big or small the load or what setting I use the clothes are never fully dry. The dryer doesn’t even really feel warm when cycles are finished or even in the middle before the cool down. Who wants to run two or more cycles in a dryer for each load? Not to mention the cost of the electricity use to do so... the dinosaur of a dryer provided by my previous place of residence worked way better than this dryer does brand new. I wish I could recommend this to others but it has so far not even come close to meeting my expectations and I am highly disappointed. I truly hope to exchange for something that works like it should but fear that I am now stuck with a less than acceptable product until I can afford to purchase something else.

Best Buy makes Insignia dryers, and sadly, I’m not impressed. Bought one new which made a high pitched sound we could hear over our entire house even with the tv on. Also, nearly every load didn’t dry completely unless using longer time and higher heat. Even then it didn’t always dry the load completely. Exchanged for another identical dryer in case I got a lemon, at the promise from the BB manager that I could trade for a new brand no charge if the same problems occurred. They occurred. Even deliverer said his didn’t dry loads all the way. Liked it otherwise but those are 2 big problems. Exchanged for another brand and am grateful for the service and understanding of the BB managers I worked with during this process. Saw reviews online that said wet loads were common with it.

The dryer worked for about 15 days then kept throwing the dirty filter code even though the filter was cleaned out every load. I had enough issues with the washing machine that when the dryer started doing this, I asked BB to come and get both of them. If you are going to get this get the extended warranty as the return period is only 15 days which isn’t enough time for something to happen.

Horrible again I have Best Buy house brands ans gave another chance and they let me know they don’t care about service or anything to help keep peace of mind Loud and doesn’t work well

Very mid. Regretted it after the first use. Pre-sets are useless, never fully dry. Needs a reset every time. Really annoying.

The dryer was ok for the price but not even compareable to other name brands. Generally takes more than one cycle to get the clothes dry.

The dryer temp needs to be at least medium high for the clothes to dry completely.

Not easy to used, good capacity but Too noisy and air filter clogs easily

The thing that is poor on this dryer is when my wife goes to put items in and out she bumps the edge, and it scrapes her skin up terrible each time, and it could have been solved if they put the rubber gasket on the dryer opening and not on the door poor design!!

Overall love the functionality. Wouldn’t recommend because it doesn’t get clothes as dry. You have to cycle them 2-3 times.
