Lint trap

My biggest issue is that every once in a while I get an error message that tells me to clean the lint trap, but there’s literally nothing in there. I clean it after every load and even when I get that error, I just have to open the lint trap and put it right back. The first time I received the error was days after I purchased it and I continue to get the same error from time to time. It just sucks because I’ve only had it for 2-3 months. The issues with this dryer and the washer make me feel like I should’ve gone with a more expensive and reliable pair.

Hate it! Returned!

It keeps telling me to clean the lint filter and won't start. It's all brand new hose and everything. Sensor leaves clothes very damp. You can't change the heat setting once it starts???? I've turned it off and on and still I can't change settings. Kills your back to reach in, too deep. I absolutely detest the digital controls on these appliances. Every 5 years I try them and returned them! I wash in a large bucket and dry on the line. I have an old dryer that doesn't heat, but I will be fixing it rather than buy this junk. JUST POORLY DESIGNED! Even the buttons are poorly placed. SMH

Even with small loads of laundry, there are always some items that are still wet. Not sure where the issue is, but I would not purchase this dryer again if I had the option. Purchased Brand New and allows clean my filter between loads.

Not worth it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought this was going to be a great dryer based on the reviews but unfortunately I did not check the 1 star reviews. The dryer takes forever to dry especially on bulky / towel settings… it also shuts off. It will say 62 minutes and then somehow go down to 8 minutes or less than that and items still won’t be dry. It’s unfortunate we’ve only had it a few days so I will be taking the necessary steps to get something else.

It takes more than one cycle to dry my clothes!

Extra Fees

The issue was the Install and requesting the door be reversed as it was not indicated in the Specs/Details the side it was on. I called Best Buy. They said to reverse the door it's another $76 on top of delivery fee/disposal fee, parts etc. I asked if they'd waive the fee they said NO. Signed one and done, Buy at another store.

Not what I expected

Unfortunately, it signaled once, but it was not until 2023. Too late to do anything about it, because the warranty had expired. Also not pleased with how the other drying cycles, which does not work well.

Worst experience ever

They refuse to help get broke pieces over to me, to have someone fix it since its their name brand product you cant find these anywhere. Please think twice before spending something like this on a cheap deal. Ive had older dryers last 15 year's.

Not Happy

I had a repair come to look at but he won’t fix it because he is not familiar with the brand. Emailed the the company and the only response I got back was to unplugged for 30 minutes and try it again. That was so unprofessional. I explain to them that I had repair man to look at the dryer. I never received a response back it has been over a week. I sent several more email over the week and still no response. Sorry customer service. When call they have u on hold forever. Then I got disconnected. Smh . Don’t buy this dryer or washer. Just pay the extra money for the top of the line washer and dryer.

Terrible Dryer by Insignia 3 hours to dry a load

The dryer take 3 hours to dry a load of clothes and even than their slightly damp. We have bought all our kitchen appliances at Best buy too but this Insignia Dryer and Washer I would like to replace with a GE or Whirlpool set even if it cost more. Best should be ashamed. All our kitchen alpliances and washer & dryer we purchased at Best Buy now Im questioning if I ever want to do business with them again.

Insignia Dryer

I will say I really like the washer, but the dryer I would not recommend. The 1st dryer's motor went out after 3 months. I called total tech to have it repaired but it was unable to be repaired so within 2 or 3 weeks it was replaced. I received the second dryer sometime in May and it is now October, I recently reported the same issue as the 1st dryer. It has been 5 months and I am pretty sure the motor burnt out because there was an awful smell that came from the dryer. It is a must to have a warranty longer than a year or two or total tech for major appliances.

Bait and switch with open box items

They said the open-box item was out of stock but the website says it's still available. They simply increased the price. This feels like a bait-and-switch tactic to me.
