    I have only had my washer and dryer since April. My dryer is no longer working. I had a repair come to look at but he won’t fix it because he is not familiar with the brand. Emailed the the company and the only response I got back was to unplugged for 30 minutes and try it again. That was so unprofessional. I explain to them that I had repair man to look at the dryer. I never received a response back it has been over a week. I sent several more email over the week and still no response. Sorry customer service. When call they have u on hold forever. Then I got disconnected. Smh . Don’t buy this dryer or washer. Just pay the extra money for the top of the line washer and dryer.

    Not what I expected

    Didn't realize that the dryer was supposed to signal me when it was done drying. Unfortunately, it signaled once, but it was not until 2023. Too late to do anything about it, because the warranty had expired. Also not pleased with how the other drying cycles, which does not work well.

    Worst experience ever

    Id give zero if I could machine broke at one month over warranty, they refuse to help give me any sort or discount even towards something new. They refuse to help get broke pieces over to me, to have someone fix it since its their name brand product you cant find these anywhere. Please think twice before spending something like this on a cheap deal. Ive had older dryers last 15 year's.

    Terrible Dryer by Insignia 3 hours to dry a load

    We have owned this dryer for 6 weeks and if I could give it a zero rating I would. The dryer take 3 hours to dry a load of clothes and even than their slightly damp. We have bought all our kitchen appliances at Best buy too but this Insignia Dryer and Washer I would like to replace with a GE or Whirlpool set even if it cost more. Best should be ashamed. All our kitchen alpliances and washer & dryer we purchased at Best Buy now Im questioning if I ever want to do business with them again.

    Insignia Dryer

    At the beginning of 2022 the Insignia washer and dryer set was delivered. I will say I really like the washer, but the dryer I would not recommend. The 1st dryer's motor went out after 3 months. I called total tech to have it repaired but it was unable to be repaired so within 2 or 3 weeks it was replaced. I received the second dryer sometime in May and it is now October, I recently reported the same issue as the 1st dryer. It has been 5 months and I am pretty sure the motor burnt out because there was an awful smell that came from the dryer. It is a must to have a warranty longer than a year or two or total tech for major appliances.

    Don't buy this piece of ROTTEN CONTRAPTION, I can't get anything dry in three cycles on the highest heat! Total waste of money! I am so ANGRY, I don't have time to dry my clothes for 3 hours to get damp clothes

    Bait and switch with open box items

    Best Buy cancelled my open-box order so I would have to purchase the item at a higher price. They said the open-box item was out of stock but the website says it's still available. They simply increased the price. This feels like a bait-and-switch tactic to me.

    Purchased saiditem and it didn't work. Then received another one and that 1 didn't work so I had them come in.Collect that second one and ask for a refund on my money still have not received a refund

    Garbage

    This dryer is terrible and stopped heating after 6 months. The heating element and fuses all tested good with a multi meter. When it did work, the dry times were long and it would occasionally stop heating any time it was slightly moved before totally going out. There are about 30 screws to take off the back panel which is a pain trying to even fix it. Go with anything else.

    Hate this Dryer

    I got this dryer nearly a year ago. I've been unhappy with it from the start. I finally decided to write a review. My problem: if I do back-to-back loads, after the first load is done (dryer has finished running through the cycle), when I put in the second load and start the dryer over, it will blow cool air and the timer will not change. It is like it hasn't really started working. Sometimes I can get it to work by changing to a different type of dryer setting (for example, move from Normal to Timed). I do a lot of laundry so this is VERY frustrating. I would not recommend this dryer. And wish I would have spent more money on a more well-known brand.

    Just bought the washer and dryer set. Does not get hot enough to dry my cloths even on the highest setting. Going to see what best buy can do about exchanging it for a new one.

    Unfortunately I cannot give a 0 star rating. I had 1 delivered, it did not heat up or dry the clothes. They delivered a replacement, and guess what. It didn't heat up, just cool air blowing. I used a new cord. And the older cord nothing worked. Best Buy phone number goes to India, finally got ahold of someone who understands English without repeating myself multiple times and switched to a whirlpool

    OVER Two Hours to Dry One Load

    $500 doesn’t mean this will actually dry your clothes: the so-called cycles are an illusion. It takes over two hours to dry a load, on the timed dry, because the cycles are worthless and clothes are still wet even on the “very dry” selection. This dryer should not cost $500. Consider buying a better used dryer or apply your 500 to a pricier machine. It’s so much money for something that will also increase your electric bill for the fact it takes over TWO hours to actually dry a medium sized load of towels. Lame.

    Insignia disappoints!

    5 month old insignia dryer no longer works. Parts are not available. Insignia washer broke in first month. It took 3 months to get it repaired. Tried calling best buy, and was transferred from department to department. After 55 minutes of transferring and being on hold, the call disconnected. I'm very disappointed in the insignia products and best buys inabjl Ith to take care of their own brand. I'm sorry I bought it. Best buy gets a zero rating from me.

    It was a great dryer for as long as it was working. After 14 months it stopped working, but of course, the warranty was only good for 12 months so I'll have to pay to get it repaired. Maybe you should look elsewhere when you need a dryer.

    Waste of money

    Stopped working after a year and 5 months and I didn’t get the extended warranty so out of luck they quoted me $300 just for diagnosis and repair without cost of parts.
