Drys, but the sensor doesn't work

It has sensor dry cycles, which I like in general. That is the one and only negative about this dryer. My daughter dried clothes and it kept coming out damp. At first I thought she overloaded the dryer with too many clothes and that was the issue, but after trying 2 or 3 loads myself it became apparent the sensor doesn't work on this. I use a set time to dry now, and it works. I would just not even try to use the sensor, but if you can find a name brand for the same price, skip this and buy that. If you're value shopping though, and this is cheaper, I'd recommend it.

The displays are easy to understand and the inside was bigger than I expected it to be. For the price, I'm quite happy with this purchase.

It constantly “senses” that the clothes are dry when they’re still damp, sometimes even wet in spots. You end up running two or three cycles just to get a small load fully dry. It’s supposed to save energy, but how efficient is a machine that needs triple the drying time? Exactly. It’s a waste of time, electricity, and sanity. I’ve cleaned the lint trap, checked the vent, and followed all the basic troubleshooting steps — the problem is the sensor itself. It’s just poorly designed. If you like babysitting appliances, this one’s for you. Otherwise, skip the Insignia brand altogether.

They are also both aesthetically pleasing and would work with any decor. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Good machine, dries fast

The laundry will dry faster and more even. Not sure if this is true or not, but she swears by this now. This dryer has holes on the entire surface of the back of the drum. Most dryers only have a small rectangle of holes. Extra drying time is only needed with very large or heavy loads.
