The “sensor dry” feature is a joke
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This dryer is just as bad as its matching washer. The sensor dry feature is completely unreliable. It constantly “senses” that the clothes are dry when they’re still damp, sometimes even wet in spots. You end up running two or three cycles just to get a small load fully dry. It’s supposed to save energy, but how efficient is a machine that needs triple the drying time? Exactly. It’s a waste of time, electricity, and sanity. I’ve cleaned the lint trap, checked the vent, and followed all the basic troubleshooting steps — the problem is the sensor itself. It’s just poorly designed. If you like babysitting appliances, this one’s for you. Otherwise, skip the Insignia brand altogether.

The only thing I wish I could set the time manually for all cycle choices. Also, I wish the top was flat instead of rounded so that things I set on top wouldn't slide off.

great dryer

Purchased this dryer from best buy and this had no heat as well. Upon further inspection I realized while doing wires in breaker panel I hooked up one wrong. But love this dryer so we kept it. Truly great
