Most cycles average around 50 -55 minutes which I think is quite long.

The specs say "4-Way Venting - The appliance has four possible vent locations (right, left, front, or rear), which allows for placement versatility." This is one of the reasons I bought this model, to vent on left side. Purchased on 1-24-2024. Unfortunately NO ONE at BestBuy knows what part is used to vent. Dryer was delivered on 1-30-2024. I planned to install myself. On 1-31-2024 I spent 30 minutes with chat support with very frustrating results - NO HELP! So I visited the store and asked a helpful sales rep (Brenden). He tried everything, including reading the owners manual, I already read several times. That manual does reference left side venting on page 5. The user guide and installation manual also reference left side venting, but no details on parts required, He checked with other store associates, no one knew anything. He also called a product specialist without getting a solution. He said there is nothing else he can do to help find the answer. On 2-1-2024 I tried the chatsupport again. Over a frustrating TWO HOURS of chatting, I was passed off to four different individuals. All of them sent me various web links that were totally worthless. So I tried a different approach by ordering the $99.99 dryer installation services only after being guaranteed someone would tell me the parts to order ahead of time. After I purchased the installation services, the agent passed me off to yet another person. They sent me a link to a side vent kit for a GE dryer. Here is the exact info "Side Vent Kit for Select GE Dryers. Model: GFA28DSVN SKU: 6406604". When I pointed out it was the wrong manufacturer (GE, not Insignia) they said "The item i sent you is compatible to Insignia." So I ordered the $95.99 part. The order receipt was immediately emailed to me with expected availability in 3-4 weeks. I couldn't wait a MONTH to get my dryer installed!! Ordered the exact same part from Amazon for $49.49 and it was delivered the next day. Unfortunately it WAS NOT COMPATIBLE TO INSIGNIA. It required a trip to HomeDepot to buy additional venting parts to install correctly.
