So disappointed

Next day dryer would not turn on at all. Best Buy kindly and quickly sent a replacement, Geek Squad delivery men installed replacement and this one would not turn on for them. Sadly had to return the first dryer and the replacement back for a refund. Best Buy and the Geek Squad we're fantastic unfortunately both dryers were not.

Worst Dryer - Look elsewhere

It barely heats up, and struggles to dry even the smallest loads. It's incredibly frustrating having to put clothes in to dry for an extra 30-60 minutes just to get them almost-dry. It pretty much negates whatever energy savings options the dryer has. Save your money and look elsewhere.

DO NOT BUY!!

They don't clean your clothes. It's a horrible set. They are the worst!! I have never seen a set so poorly made. I'm stuck with them now. I am so disappointed. I will never purchase anything Best Buy branded again.

Pathetic worthless delivery

My guys literally turned it the other way and it went right the basement that the "trained professional" delivery guys said couldn't be done! Glad I paid a delivery fee for nothing!

Sadly, it seems a normal issue with today's crap manufacturing. Why did my previous dryer last 21 years with minor maintenance? Bestbuy doesn't have a replacement, so i will never known if any of these would ever work. It is a good argument to consider having them set it up, however. It may save a few days in getting a replacement...? I guess the answer is to spend more for something that will work - or get that extended warranty!

The low heat cycle was never consistently low, but service company said that was a common issue with "cheap" dryers, and pointed out many don't offer the option. Despite cleaning and going through all the trouble shooting issues, it's seemingly not built to last much more than the warranty period.

Not a good dryer

The dryer did not get hot enough during the cycle to dry all items. It was normal to run it two to three times to get all of our clothes dry, so I took it back soon after we purchased it.

Very Disappointed

I don't want a replacement because the door broke on the first and second one. On the second one it takes 3-4 times to dry your clothing. The first was 2 times to dry. This dry has major problem.

Broke instantly

Do not buy

Brand new and does not dry, and wont heat up. Have also heard nothing but bad things so i would spend the extra money and get a dryer that actually works. Extremely disappointing.

Didn't work

It was replaced by the same unit which also did not work upon delivery and hook-up. I had an electrician check my power supply and no issues were found. I exchanged for a different brand and there were no issues with that unit. Maybe these were just a bad batch as I have used Insignia products before.

stopped working properly in less than 1 year

Right out of the box the dry light was on, and cooling light was blinking. It never heated up whether it was on manual or sensor cycles, went to return it and ordered a second dryer. The same brand and model and it did the same thing right out of the box. Returning it to get a refund.

dryer is not powerful enough, don't buy it

All dryers worked well except this Insignia dryer. It does not dry and takes 3 times longer than the previous dryers. I cleaned up the vent, it still didn't dry fast. I really like to to return this dryer and I will not buy Insignia anymore.
