Great optical cable perfect length and at cheap price.

The optical cable sound offers much higher quality than traditional red/white audio cables. However, with my a Smart tv, while watching Netflix occasionally, there is a slight delay in sound. The dialogue sometimes quite noticeably lags a bit behind what appears on screen. It never did that with the red/white audio connection, but started when I switc to the optical, but the lower sounds are so much deeper and overall sound is much better.

It was cheap and it was long for my tv and player.

With limited inputs on my new TV, I had a problem with sound bleeding from my 'regular' channel over to the 'smart' channel, in that I would hear audio from both at the same time. Tried other hook-ups, but none solved the problem. Tried this cable (first time use) and VOILA! the problem was solved!

I had never used optical cable. I bought another tv, and when I moved old one to bedroom, I happened to realize that I could hook my sound bar to receive input directly from tv ( instead of cable box ) and have sound from netflix. Stupid me. Spent years with poor netfix sound because I am lazy!

Good quality cables. And affordable and in all lengths

I needed to purchase an optical cable to connect my soundbar to my TV since there were limited ports available. The quality of the sound is very high and my TV's built-in speakers will last much longer now that I'm not turning them up to the point of rattling. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Since I'm only looking to impress myself with my home entertainment system, I opted for a more budget friendly digital optical audio cable to channel my TV's audio through my home stereo. Despite the saying, "You get what you pay for," the Insignia digital optical audio cable provides a great sound. I have no complaints.

Had to upgrade with the new 4k tv. Solid price and works great with my soundbar

Bought this optical cable to hook up an Insignia soundbar to my Vizio TV. Was the easiest way to get the soundbar hooked up and it is the best method to do so, as mentioned in instruction manual for soundbar. It is worth the little bit of extra money to buy an optical cable, but keep your eyes open for deals!

I like these cables because they are easier to manage than HDMI cables. They are thinner, lighter, easier to use with cable management in our tv mount, and the sound is just as clear as before. Didn't know I needed these until I was unable to get sound to come through on our new TV - wish BestBuy would have mentioned that when I bought the TV, had to make another trip back. Not a big deal, just a nuisance.

I have two Roku 3's, and wanted a small device to plug into the back of my 19" Samsung LED (non-smart) TV I have in the kitchen. You plug it directly into an available HDMI port. The device comes with a USB power cord and adapter which is small and light. You have the choice of plugging the USB power cord into a USB port on your TV, or plug it into the power adapter, and that into an available electric outlet. I chose to do the latter, since I had one free socket. I am pleased with its performance. It is a little bit slower to access channels than the Roku 3, but not slower than a second or two. I experienced no lagging or freezing of the videos I watched. Since the device only receives on the 2.4 GHz wireless band, I was very impressed by its performance. It imported all of the channels I had on my other two Roku's, and the remote works even though the device is completely behind the TV. I always thought one needed to have a device in view of the remote in order to work. I am glad I made this purchase.

Easy to install and the sound is great. I would recommend this a friend.

I bought these to replace my original one from my sony soundbar..these are way better than my sony ones..they are made of high quality..and they are thicker..making them more durable.than the thin ones ..sound is fantastic..and these went in sale..i got a great deal..

this cable was very sturdy and i felt confident using it with my audio systyem. It was priced right and i feel that i am going to get everything that i wanted out of it and more. I would recommend this product to others and recommend them to get it at best buy i found they had the best price.

Bought this as part of a setup to stream audio through older audio system (circa 1980s). Works wonderfully with a digital / analog converter box for great sound, even with the old system. Plus it was a Deal of the Day (keep your eye on these!): $34.99 cable for $4.99!
