I wasn't really familiar with this product before it was recommended to me. I needed this (and one other piece) to use my Logitec surround sound system speaker with my new LG tv, This saved me a so much money, since I didn't have to buy new speakers or a sound bar.

Installed this from my TV to my reciever so that i could get the Audio from my smart TV. Worked great and was cheaper than the alternatives. You really dont need to invest in expensive fiber. Just dont kink it when you install or you'll cut the light transmission.

This cord is good quality, works great and purchased at a great price.

Good cable easy set up and good sound quality, more cable than needed

I bought this after having quite a lot of trouble hooking headphones to a new television, this converter really does make the digital to analog conversion extremely easy and allows for listening through the headphones while someone else would be on the phone or sleeping.

I use this cable to attach my 65 inch Samsung panel to my high end AV receiver. This connects the digital audio out of the Samsung to the optical in on my Marantz. It works well with no problems. The audio sounds great. Cable also is well made. A good choice if you need this connection.

Cannnotice difference in sound quality and was easy to set up

Because the receiver I have hooked up to one of the TV's does not have HDMI ports I connect HDMI devices directly to the TV and use the optical audio output from the TV to the optical input on the receiver to get the sound I want. This inexpensive cable did the trick!

Gone are the days of haveing 10 difrent cables to run all your home entertainment. You can hook your soundbar or surround sound up to your tv for audio with this one cable allowing all your av devices and video game systems to run in surround sound

The sound is comparable to HDMI. Works well with my Insignia sound bar.

No longer have to deal with listening to my tv speakers when using something other than my bluray player, which my sound system hooks into directly. I can now hear my surround sound when getting local channels by antenna or using my AppleTV! SO happy!!

Was trying to hook up surround sound system using HDMI, which did not work, but using the digital optical audio cable is what it took to have system up and running. Would have been nice if the directions from the surround system would have just said that from the get go.

I had tried more than one HDMI cable and the soundbar would not work. I read that the optical cable might be an alternative. Purchased the 6' Digital Optical Audio Cable. Installed the cable in a matter of minutes and the soundbar worked!!! Easy to use, price was right!

This Optical cable was just what I needed to make my sound bar come to life with my new set. I tried to use the old avi cables but to no avail I spoke with associate who told they use optical before avi so I got one and the sound is incredible.

Works like a charm. Good sound quality and value for the price.
