I had to purchase this in order to hook up my soundbar to my 3 yr old flat screen. Well worth the purchase. I wouldn't think twice about buying it, in order to hook up the soundbar.

Saved me so much headache after two external drives "died". Save lots of money, buy this, crack open the 'broken' drives and plug them in...perfect! Saved our family serious heartache finding an important video for a funeral. Thanks!!

This cord works perfectly fine, and I noticed right away that this cord does not tightly click into place like the old cord I previously had . It is loose and seems like it could fall out at any moment, but I has not fallen out yet.

Could not determine why I could not get sound to my sound bar via the digital light cable. Ordered a new one and problem solved. Excellent service from Best Buy.

Works perfect! Got a new Big screen with digital/optical audio out and had to convert it for my older stereo system. Worked perfect with the converter I also had to get.

The Geek Squad installed my HD TV (Wall Mount) and sound bar using this cable. They did an exceptional job installing the units that yoiu can't see the optical cable!

My high end receiver went out. While it was being repaired, I hooked an old Sony I have up to Uverse Receiver with the Digital Optical Audio Cable. IT worked Great.

Connection soundbar to TV is plug in. Once connected I could use my Comcast remote for the soundbar, saving me the trouble of using my soundbar remote.

This cable was recommended as the best way to connect my sound bar. I love the volume of my sound bar so I believe it was the correct recommendation.

what can you say about a cable,it's black from one end to another,and plugs in at both ends. That's it nothing special about it , no pro and no cons

After getting a new TV my mothers wireless headphones would only work with the this cable. Tried using phono jacks and it would kill the tv speakers.

Does the trick. My TV doesn't have audio out, so this was used to connect to a tuner. bought it along with an optical audio converter. Works great

The sound bar I purchased already came with cables but the sales rep recommended this cable. I cant tell the difference in sound quality from manufacturer cable to this cable. i think its unnecessary but it does its job.

worked... just wanting the points at this point. No really, I am a fan of Dynex products; they are affordable and never fail to work as expected.

Needed this to connect my HDTV to my receiver for OTA surround sound pass-though. Works as intended, plus it was only 1/4 the cost of Monster branded cables.

Used with converter box to adapt headphones to new TV. Needed a phone call to TV manufacturers help line to adjust TV settings but works great

This fiber optic cable is reasonably priced and connects easily. Only complaint is the thin outer casing that doesn't provide much protection to the cable.

My Soundbar would not work using the other ways of hooking it up. After plugging this into my TV and soundbar, did it actually start working.

Worked as advertised. I have had this cable for about two months now and it works like a champ. I use it to connect my sound bar to my TV.

Purchased an open box item at the store the same time I purchased an Insignia sound bar. I have purchased other open box items with no issues.
