It did not! After hooking it up to my tv, i tried and tried to get it to work and then finally looked it up online - just to discover that i had wasted all night with it. That didn't give me sound to my turtle beaches. Had to come up with a different part that i just so happen to have laying around the house anyways.

Posted .Hi there! I'm glad that the cable is working, but it really should not be skipping at all, I'd recommend to take the cable to the Geek Squad at your local Best Buy to have it checked out. I bought this cord to bring sound from my tv to my surround sound and I got nothing. Pretty simple instructions so I don't know why it didn't work.
