Works for what I needed it for. Wish it was about 2 feet longer still. Seems much sturdier/thicker than the other one I have. Took a star off for being priced high, and for still only being 6' long.

No complaints. I needed sound from the tv to my surround sound and this was the easiest method. I now have that sound, so 5 stars it is!

Not much need be said except that it made hooking up the soundbar very easy, especially with the instruction that the sales associate, Darcy, gave me.

Connected the cable between my 42" LG Smart TV and my off brand sound bar. All connections were easy to make and it worked perfectly the first time.

So far this is a great product. Have no problems at all. Looks and feels as if it will continue to be the best optical cable we have ever purchased.

The Insignia Digital Optical Cable provides a great quality of sound. I got it on Black Friday pricing so it was a steal for how well it sounds!

Does the job....my first item of this type so I can't compare to others...but this one makes me happy with the job tasked to it.

I needed an optical cord to connect a new speaker bar to my sons xbox. This one did the trick and now he has stereo sound on his xbox. He watches movies on netflix on his xbox so wanted higher quality sound.

My television was not equipped with an HDMI out for my soundbar, and instead I had to purchase this to connect the two devices. It solved the problem allowing me to have a richer listening experience, however, considering that it is just a simple cable I feel like it was overpriced. Before buying either a television or a soundbar, I suggest you check the specifications of either unit to be sure a standard HDMI cable can be used to connect the devices to each other.

Bought this for a sound system, but was unable to get it to work properly since I don't have the proper output link. Other than that, it's working fairly well on my game system hooking up onto my flat screen.

This optical cable is priced at a decent point and allowed me to get an audio device connected to my older receiver. Very pleased.

This optical cord worked great for my surround sound. The length was perfect and the wire it self was nice and thick in other words built to last.

I have other Insignia cable products which have worked fine so that's why I choose to stay with the same brand, cable has been working just fine.

We have been searching for this Tv for awhile and was waiting to find one in the right price, Finally did and was very happy with it
