no frills cable

Like all optical cables, they can take a little bit of effort to get them to connect properly (I connected it to an Insignia sound bar), but once it's in, it's fine. Kudos also to BB for its price matching policy (the price dropped the week after I bought it, and they took care of me).

Saved me money

I had to connect my 4K player directly to the TV to get the movie to show in 4K. So then I needed this optical audio cable to get the sound back to my audio receiver. This was way cheaper than buying a new 4K audio video receiver.
