I needed to connect an optical wire from my TV to an amplifier’s coaxial connectors through an optical-coaxial converter. A department manager pointed me in the right direction for the converter, and the necessary optical cable. The cable works perfectly (as does the converter box, rated elsewhere).

I had never used an optical cord before. The cord was easy to use, and very self explanatory. Nothing to it!

The cable did the job I was looking for. I don't have top of the line equipment so I cannot tell if the cable makes a difference on sound or video quality .

It was the only brand that had this cable and didn't want an arm and a leg for it. since everyone is on the HDMI kick it is hard to come by. Worked great happy I got it

I didn't really know what i was looking for but it works with my visio sound bar and samsung smart tv

I have nothing to say other than it did exactly what I needed it to do. It hasn't broken yet either!

Just like with HDMI cables there isn't a reason to spend more money on an optical cable. They work the same.

This is a quality cable at a great price. We purchase all our electronic equipment and accessories at Best Buy.

It is a glass cable.. It works great and I have no issues with this.. Just remember it is glass and it does't have a high bend point nor a thick sheath to protect it.. if you set it up and leave it along it will be fine.. If you move your system around a lot like Travel I would get a different one.

It works like it should. I would buy it again. No issues, I mean really it is an optical cable.

Unable to detect any difference in sound quality between this cable and other "major" brand cables.

the cable allowed us to solve a problem created when we connected a new TV with a very old receiver.

This was a good cable. It was too bad that my sound system did not have the proper optical input.

For the price, this was a great buy and certainly performed upon installation. No issues at all. Can always depend on Best Buy!

I have found Best Buy brand to be just as good as the brand name cables. It works beautifully

This TV has been an excellent addition and we are please with the high quality of clarity in its picture.

Used this cable along with an AUX converter box to get my older sound bar working. It works great, though I fell it was a little more money than expected.
