Say landscape to portrait for some reason, then this cable is not for your. This cable does not latch. When your turn your monitor it disconnects a little and you have to pull it out an push it back in. Same with graphics card. If you need to more the PC, or in my case the external GPU, you have to do the same. So I ended up buying cables from Monoprice, that latch.
