So what does that mean for you? Well if you're like me with an LG 34" Ultrawide curved monitor, it means 2 hours of time wasted. You see, these displayport cables don't have the correct pin-out wiring for pin 20, which means that when the monitor goes to sleep, it cannot wake up. As a result, I have to unplug the power from the monitor to get it to function again. Swapped cables to a quality DisplayPort VESA certified cable, and the problem is resolved. I bought two of these cables, and will be returning them.

However, since I purchased just over 30 days ago, I could not return the product. Unfortunate, since it took this amount of time to determine what the problem was (considered monitor and pc port) but the cable was the problem.

The connections to my video card are so sensitive I simply raise my desk (PLENTY of slack in the cables) and they lose their signal. I have an EVGA GeForce RTX 3080Ti. My HDMI cable - works perfectly. These two for my other two monitors? Will be replaced as soon as I can.
