The other cord was defective out of the box and simply didn't work. Not much fun to deal with, so hopefully Best Buy will let me exchange it. If they'll exchange, then I'll recommend 5 stars, otherwise this was a bust!

Connected the second one and it is working just fine... so far. I only have one controller, so now it isn't a huge deal. Got this pretty cheap on sale so not really worth the trouble returning it with the defective one. The one that does work though makes gaming much better and more comfortable especially since I have a 65" TV.

The classic Nintendo came with a very short cable so you are obligated to buy this extensions to be able to play comfortable, because the original control is only three feet long. They know is not enough to play, so now you have to buy an extra accessory to play the game.
