The cables that shipped with the NES classic and SNES classic are much shorter than the original. This product added significantly more length to those and don't seem to introduce any noticeable lag.

The controllers are made for tv’s in the 90’s, much smaller. I wouldn’t want my child playing without these extensions attached. They’re simple to attach and add the perfect length into the controller.

Ok so the controllers for the Classic NES are extremely short. These extension cords are a must have if you want to play on the couch!! Also works for the Classic SNES controllers! Even more of a must buy!

These extensions definitely made it a lot easier and more comfortable to play with. The regular controllers are way too short and this helps extending them so you can play comfortably. A good investment.

These cords extend the SNES controller cords very well and boost their total length to just over 10 feet. Perfect for the SNES classic, though you may need longer cords for the NES classic edition.

The original cord is only 3 feet which makes it extremely difficult to enjoy. These adaptors allow you to sit back and play the game at a comfortable distance...especially if you have a nice size TV.

If you get the SNES Classic you really need these unless you sit super close to your TV. They work perfectly, just be careful not to trip over them! (since we've become accustomed to wireless controllers)

These are a HUGE help with the short SNES classic cords. I got them on sale and they are worth full price. Haven't had any problems with them and now we can play from the other side of the room.

With the limitations of the cords on the SNES Classic, these are a must have! Quick to add on, the six feet allow you to sit in your favorite chair and relive the glory that was Nintendo 16 bit.

The extension cables work great; it's just ridiculous that they are needed. NES really should have had decent length cords on their controllers, but since they don't, this product is a necessity.

The cable length on the NES Classic controllers is (almost) laughably short. These cables work wonderfully. If you want you can connect them end to end and have a single 12' cable if you so desire to.

These are a great accessory to the SNES controllers I have. The cords are fairly short to begin with... so adding these on, I get an awesome 6' more to sit back a enjoy on the big screen!

I got these free when I purchased an Insignia wireless controller for the SNES Classic. What can I say, they are extension cords for the NES and SNES classic controllers. I tried them once and they seem to work fine. You will need these if you don't want to sit so darn close to the TV especially if you are playing the NES Classic.
