The game controller wires for the NES are too short to use comfortably. I STRONGLY suggest getting extenders and these do the trick perfectly and good price.

This extension cable is exactly as the box says it is, and allows you to add an extra 10 feet to the already short NES and SNES Classic controllers.

These are essential when using either the NES or SNES classic. The controllers' cables are way too short and for less than ten dollars you can fix that problem.

If you purchase an SNES then you must purchase these extension cords. They allow you to enjoy the fun without the restriction of being so close the TV.

This is the second set I've purchased, they work great, a must have as the stock controller cable is annoyingly short. Like comically short.

Hey if you have a good distance from where you are sitting to where the mini console is located your gonna need these. Unless you buy wireless controller.

Regular wired controllers come with short cords. These are a must have to get some distance between your system and you. Add these and it will help.

Was able to daisy chain two of these together to extend the controller. Also bought a wireless controller so I can play 2 player games if I desire.

This is so much better than the tiny cord that is supplied with the NES system. This allows to sit back on the couch and not have to be 2 ft from the tv
