Essential NES Mini Accessory

Their are completely wireless options out there form third-party manufacturers, but these wired connections will do the job too if you're not trying to sit more than 10 feet from the console. The original controllers only have like 4 feet of cable, so these (Insignia brand?) extension cables make a big difference. I only had them not work once, but unplugging & reconnecting them fixed the issue. So the connection seems solid, although not impervious to faults.

Good extension cables for Classic Nintendo

I returned them and got a new pair and worked great since. It adds an additional length to the Nintendo controllers.
