If you are getting a classic system these cables are required

They make playing nitendo much better and work well

This was a great use when we got the snes classics

It comes in pack of two which is nice. One cable works without fuss but the other one wasn't working right until I swapped the controller and port it plugs into. No issues since then but I question durability of that cable. Will edit once something happens.

They work for the most part. However, the makers of the classic should have longer cables attached to the controllers already. This completely feels like a case of a company trying to milk the consumer of all the money it can. Also, do not try to plug two extension cables or more together for one controller. When the button is pressed, it will get the system on a delay and it really loses some of the functionality. I'm recommending to a friend because you can't play anything with the controller and cable that is attached to it. This product is a necessity.

We found that it comes loose sometimes and the gamepad quits working. I guess when we tug on it , the cord loses connection. After pushing on the connector it works fine again.

Bought two pair, one for NES Classic and one for SNES Classic. One of four failed within a few months. Build quality is sub-par, the PVC jacket holds its shape and tangles easily, worse than the original controllers. I recommend the extra expense of getting an 8bitdo mod kit and turning your classic controllers into Bluetooth wireless controllers instead, a totally reversible process that requires no soldering, cutting, or gluing.

I needed this extension because the controller is too short. Though I ordered Insignia controller which is longer than the original, I still need this. This one seems ok.

Purchased two packages of these (4 total) and within the first two days of use two had went bad. Thankfully I haven't had any other issues after a few months of using the other two.

Bought two of these when I bought the SNES classic. The worked well at first but then one of them quit after only 3 months without even using it very much.

It is a must own for anyone with the system, just a little than thought it would have a more firm cable considering it will be stretched across your floor.
