I have a Mac. It's a pain in the butt that Apple makes you buy a ton of cords if you want to connect your computer to an hdmi port on a television. Thankfully a third party has done what they cannot.

I bought this to use with my Microsoft Surface Pro 3. It was either get this cable or get the cable with the female port and use yet another HDMI cable. I didn't want to buy two separate cables for my needs and in addition it was more expensive to purchase the two other cables together. This cable was the solution. I found it in the Apple area of the store and I believe it actually listed Apple on the box but it works for any mini display port to HDMI connection.

This cable provides an all in one for Display port to HDMI. Before, I was using an adapter and didn't work too well. This provides a smooth connection and audio is transferred as well.

This cable is just what I needed. It's a little more expensive than buying just an adapter and a cheap HDMI cable, but Id rather pay a little more to not have a big bulky adapter so it looks a little cleaner. The wire is a little thin compared to my other HDMI cables, but it isn't too big of a problem because it does a great job sending video to the monitor (haven't used the sound function so I can't really comment on the sound quality). Over all a great cable, would recommend!

Sounds great. Only issue is with HDMI to a Samsung TV you can't hear anything. I'm using digital optical. There's a forum on Bose's website with many people with the same issue. Hopefully they fix it soon!

I purchased this to connect my Macbook Air to a 50" display and it performed as promised. No problems at all. Connections are nice and secure. I keep this in my computer bag just incase.
