    I needed a cable that actually works from HDMI to mini-display port. This cable only works from mini-display port to HDMI. I have a late 2009 iMac that can work as an external display. The team at Best Buy thought it might work, gave it a shot, but returned it. Great thing was that the return was easy. Way too expensive for what it is and what you can find online.

    The packaging is covered with Mac compatibility for whatever reason, the DisplayPort and HDMI support is difficult to find, and why is it not HDMI 2.0 (nor any of their other products, either)? Quality is ok for a rubber sheathed cable; it's quite expensive, though. For the price, it should at least be a braided fabric sheath or something more durable.
