I needed to connect my Mac to a projector for a wedding event. My mac has a thunderbolt adapter and the protector was HDMI. This worked perfectly! highly recommend!

Good product, wish a longer cable was available at time of purchase

Works as expect. Instead of having to get a mini DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter plus an HDMI cable, this cable goes straight from my mini DP laptop port to the HDMI port on my monitor. Image quality as expected and it even refreshes faster than my HDMI-to-HDMI monitor.

Durable and exactly what i was looking for. There should have been instructions on the box on how to transfer the sound over. Had to figure that part out on my own.

Just need this cable right away and tit was the right price.

When I was choosing this wire for my Mac output to HDMI there was minimal choice options. For a brand new cable was kind of pricy in my eyes. Then I noticed they had a opened box price. So I went & ahead & took my chances with the open box resealed for 1/2 price basically. I've used it every day with no connectivity issues. Another thing I was somewhat skeptical about was the brand because the tv's by this brand & performance reviews weren't all that great. So I assumed it would be like that because of the brand but I'm glad to say no issues for the brand. Overall it was the "Best Buy"

I’m not sure how this works with other systems, but it didn’t work with my Surface Pro. I’ve been told that the Surface Pro port has a flat surface and universal adapters might not work. This one didn’t work for me. If you have a Surface Pro just buy the Microsoft one

A reasonably priced cable compared to the competition.

I own a late 2009 white MacBook 13" and I wanted to have the ability to browse and to do editing on a larger screen. This cable fits my needs perfectly and I can do work from the comfort of my couch (sometimes bed...lol). There are wireless options that will do the same thing but I preferred to go this route. The cable is 6' long so this may or may not meet your needs. I don't believe Insignia offers a longer option but to get the length I needed, I purchased a 12ft Insignia cable and Rocketfish HDMI coupler (check out my review on it). Now I have 18ft of cable.

Does what it says on the tin. If you need to connect a Mini DisplayPort socket to HDMI, e.g. Laptop to an external monitor, then this cable works fine.

this works great for us, we use all the time for our apple (mac) to connect to our TV. we like to watch streaming events and this is perfect for that.

Enjoyed watching this movie with my grandchildren!

I regularly choose Insignia products when shopping. I have found them to be equal in quality and performance to the big name brands but a more reasonable price.

I have been wanting to connect my Mac computer to my tv, but didn't have the cable to do it. Found this at Best Buy and it does what I need to it to.

Works great with my Macbook Pro. My first HDMI cord was a Belkin and it stopped working for no reason. It has been a month and still going strong.

Good cables, maybe slightly overpriced, but they work well.
