I stopped by the near by store and bought one of these. Works properly, no problem at all. Only concern is that it is a bit pricy.

I purchased ro connect my laptop to a larger monitor and it woukd not work. I was very disappointed. Ive used other company prodicts and those worked without am issue. Had to use my regular laptop screen amd that was not great. Purpose was to show a small slideshow I made.

I was assured it would. But it doesn't. Audio does not work through this one. Be sure you purchase the one that indicates both audio and visual. It was frustrating because I returned it later than 15 days so I couldn't get a refund. That is simply too short of a time. I live aways from a Best Buy and was away for most of the month I had purchased the cable. Fortunately, they had something I could exchange it for. This policy is discouraging enough that I will continue to shop Amazon.
