I ended up having to purchase the connection peice made by insignia and connect a regular hdmi to connect it and it worked perfectly.

Jamming in your car and the next thing you know, you can hear some really great static. It's cheap for short term, but not for long term. I'll be getting a better one.

Because my Mac is not one that has an HDMI cable, my options where either use an adapter or just buy Mini Display Port to HDMI cable. Obviously I went for the later option to save money and cut down on clutter.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had problems getting my Mac Mini to go 2560x1080 to my second LG 29" Ultrawide monitor via the Thunderbolt connector. I tried several cables. This cable immediately handled it. Now I have my Mac Mini running both of my LG Ultrawides (One via HDMI, the other via Thunderbolt). I know there are a bunch of folks out there experiencing the same problem. I hope this helps!
