Why would I invest in equipment and then not protect it from power surges? I learned the hard way and I will never plug into a wall outlet again! Well worth the few dollars it cost.

I wouldn't trust it to protect an expensive computer, printer, or critical networking gear, but it's perfect for protecting a mesh node like an eero, eero Pro, etc.

I have it attached to the underside of my desk with screws (not included) in the holes on the bottom of the strip. So far it's working as intended and I have no complaints!
