We bought this for our son to take to college. It wasn’t the most expensive but it is just as good.

Works like most any surge protector. Fits nicely behind our couch and accommodates our many tech things.

This is a basic power strip. It is pretty straightforward and doesn't have any frills (no USBs, etc.). It is inexpensive, yet it seems well made. I'd recommend it.
