No problem so far

There were thunderstorms here in Houston in the last couple weeks and I did not have any power surge problem. The only down side is that you can not screw it on to the outlet like some other protector, which I prefer.

Only way to make this better, would be to fix what all of these type of bulky extenders have and that is stability (far to easy to knock off the wall). However, that would likely increase the price...

Seemed Like A Good Idea

In reality, this unit does not fit snugly against the plug in recepticle. I will continue to use it, but I'm constantly concerned that it will accidentally unplug and turn off my computer, etc. It wobbles and dangles rather loosely.

Would have given it 5 stars had it been a little less expensive.

Better than most similar protection

For the dollars, this one also includes the ability to turn the plugins 90 degrees. Believe you couldn't find better in a big home box store.
