Even when I first started using it, it had a bad burning smell to it when you put more than a couple pieces of paper in it. As if it couldn’t handle it. Now it sounds like a typewriter and takes a long time to shred one piece of paper. At time you have to almost shove the paper in it like a mad man just to get it to recognize there’s something there that needs to be shredded. Don’t buy this one and spend more for s better one.

The first time I used it the paper would not feed into the shredder. You have to force it to feed it through and it will not feed through the entire length. It will only feed through half of it. I looked online to return it and it was two days past the return date. I bought it on Jan 6th and the return date expired Jan 21. I wish I would have used the product as soon as I purchased it. I thought buying an office product through Best Buy would ensure better quality than what I received. If you do purchase this item PLEASE use it within the first few days of purchase so that if you experience this problem you will be able to return it.

I am very disappointed in this product.
