Shredder stopped working after one use

The shredder stopped working and just runs but doesn’t shred. Returning item!

I don't believe it will last more than 1yr. It is small. I had to replace a model bought from Office Depot which lasted more than 5yrs.

It worked for several months, then kaput! And I was CAREFUL to not shred max number of sheets (ie. keeping at 1-2 sheets) AND taking frequent breaks BEFORE the unit overheated. So frustrating! I will NEVER buy Insignia items any more. I also purchased an Insignia refrigerator and it too runs poorly.

Worked well until it didn’t

Over-heats and shuts off quickly

Trouble-shooting tips didn't work. Took it back and exchanged it for another. Couldn't get it to work consistently either. Now I'm stuck with in-store credit and had to buy a shredder somewhere else.
