Handy little shredder!!

I use it for all our personal papers. It says it will take up to 6 sheets of paper and I did try that. It was slower and thought it would bog down, but kept going. I just shred two sheets at most at a time and that’s not always 8 1/2” x 11” size. The shredder handles it with ease. I never shred envelopes. To me that’s a waste of using the machine when they can be recycled with the rest of my newspapers, junk mail etc.

(I shred the plastic one card at a time, and then disposed of it so as not to contaminate the recyclable shredded paper. I also appreciate the window on the front that indicates how much space remains. The unit has choked a couple of times and required careful debriding. It works best with four sheets of paper or less. The manufacturer states that it is not necessary to remove staples; however, a staple caused one of the jams. It is best to first remove staples. Great value for the price!

It's A Good Starter Shredder

It can overheat with a lot of quick, repeat shredding i think but i just gave the shredder 30 seconds to cool a little. It hasn't overheated much for me but i think i was close. Much better than hand ripping! Keeps my mail area cleaner and I'm getting rid of old documents! Recommended!
