Recently she shredded a paper with a nickel attached (donations?!). The shredder still works but I had decided to buy another because the nickel got stuck. She insisted on keeping the old one. Said it works fine. So I returned this one I had purchased for a gift. But I’m sure it would eat a nickel and keep working just like Moms old one. Lol
