It works as it should for casual use. Definitely can’t put too many sheets at once as we got it heated one time. It smelled a bit bad but never quit on us, even after that torture. It will do credit cards but stresses on one. Always let it cool down if you stress it and it ships last. The bin is small but with the amount we shreds, we can go months before having to empty it.

Its small but does the job! No complaints so far! Works great & its much quieter than my old one.

I have a very tiny office space so this works great in that space.i would defiantly recommend this product. To be fair, I have only had it for a couple weeks so far so good. I will do another review in a couple of months to see if it up holds its worth.

It has the typical switch settings, which includes forward, backward, auto and off. It has a safety switch that will allow the shredder to operate only when on the basket in the proper position. Also has an overheating shutoff safety mechanism, which will activate the red overheated light and shut the shredder down. Once the shredder cools off, it will again operate normally. This shredder has a convenient window in the basket to see when the basket is getting full. If you place a bag in the basket to contain the shredded paper, it will inhibit your ability to see how full the basket is. This shredder is rated for up to 6 sheets of paper at a time, but it seems to struggle a bit with more than 3 sheets. Also gets overheated faster when putting more sheets at one time through it. It also has credit card shredding ability. I got this unit for just under $30 on sale. That was a good deal, but I would hesitate to buy it at full price. I would purchase a better quality unit instead of paying full price for this one.
