Wrong! If you need a shredder, you need a cross-cut. This one's strong, quiet, and goes a long time before it needs to be emptier.

You can get alot of shreading done before you need to empty the bin.

Working really well so far, I shredded paper only, I could update later on when I get the chance to shred other things like credit cards

Works wells if you keep the shredder teeth clean

You do need to clean the shredder teeth every 5-10 sheets for best results. Otherwise, the horizontal crosscut does not complete and it turns into a strip shredder.
