I use it to get rid of old mail. The only problem I've had was that the auto start doesn't work as intended and instead functions like the on setting. Without that problem this is easily a 5 star product.

It is small and is not meant for big jobs but ok for home/personal shredding. It stopped working at one time (controls would not work), but by disconnecting power and plugging power back, it operated correctly.
