Cable did exactly what was needed.

Problem tracked down to optical cable. Purchased this new one and it solved the problem because it has small wings near tip that allow the cable to snap in snugly. Audio works fine now.

We bought this to give the sound bar a better connection to the computer and it works perfectly, no more buzzing!
