    This was exactly what I needed to interface my Apple macOS iMac with my Asus Windows PC. I'd previously had a similar interface that no longer worked because of the macOS upgrade to Big Sur, but this cable and interface proved to work admirably although somewhat differently. Although I could not be certain, I would anticipate that this cable will also work between two Windows PCs or between two Apple Mac systems.
