    I was looking for a cable with a USB at each end. I wanted to transfer my music catalogue from my desktop to my laptop. Unfortunately, I was not able to do it. I will still keep the cable for any future needs.

    It's a great idea, if it can work on your computer. My dad purchased a new desktop computer to replace his 16-18 year old desk top. I gathered the files to send over to the new computer and plugged in the transfer cable. But nothing would trnasfer. It just sat there and didn't transfer. I tried to look up ways to get it to transfer, but I couldn't find anything. It may work for other computers, but not one that is 16-18 years old.
