Specifically, there is no provision in their software to handle copying over large numbers of files that already exist on the "to" drive. You can't skip transfer of all pre-existing files; you must select the action for EACH file. Copying data to a fresh, unused drive is fine, but trying to update or back up to pre-existing folders is not.

My dad purchased a new desktop computer to replace his 16-18 year old desk top. I gathered the files to send over to the new computer and plugged in the transfer cable. But nothing would trnasfer. It just sat there and didn't transfer. I tried to look up ways to get it to transfer, but I couldn't find anything. It may work for other computers, but not one that is 16-18 years old.
