Slow and overpriced

Unfortunately the speeds are much lower than advertised. I was getting about 80 MB/s max, which is much slower then the 625 MB/s (5Gbps) advertised speed. Task manager shows the USB device pegged at 100%, indicating that it is fully saturated and is the bottleneck. I can transfer files to an external HDD at speeds of 150 MB/s. I have to do it twice, so the total time is about the same as using this USB cable, but what's the point of the cable if it is about the same speed? It does work however. You can drag and drop files between the two machines, but there is significant mouse lag on the recipient machine, so don't plan on using this to bridge your mouse between two machines unless you can tolerance a very laggy mouse.

He showed this and asked me to purchase. Once I came home and checked, they are working. Waster of trip and time going to bestbuy.
